According to non-partisan fact tank The Pew Research Center, in 2016 Gen Zers cast 4.5 million votes and made up 4% of all votes cast in the midterm elections. Analysis from the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning and Engagement (CIRCLE) at Tufts University projected an estimated that 53% to 56% of eligible voters age 18-29 showed up to cast a ballot in the 2020 election, compared to an estimated 45% to 48% in 2016—that is nearly 26 MILLION voters under the age of 30! That is a lot of power.
GenZGoVote is an initiative to encourage and empower Gen Zers to exercise their right to participate in the electoral process. We’ve partnered with Rock The Vote to bring resources to register, check registration status, set reminders, request an absentee ballot, and to activate in your communities to support the representatives you want in YOUR government—those who care about the issues that YOU care about—and to use your powerful voice at the ballot box.
